Capturing nature's flavours – wild herbs and mushrooms from summer to winter

Bring the scent and taste of the winter forest indoors!
In this workshop, you'll explore dried mushrooms and wild herbs and create your own forest-flavoured products: a seasoning blend, flavoured salt, and a tea blend or foot soak mix.

You'll learn to combine wild herbs and mushrooms creatively, taste and package your own blends, and take home instructions so you can continue using the flavours of the winter forest in your home kitchen.

Come mix, taste, and fall in love with the flavours of the forest – and take home a jar full of winter magic!

Workshop Content

In this workshop, you will explore how to use wild herbs and mushrooms during the winter season, how to work with dried ingredients, and how to combine flavours creatively in the home kitchen. During the workshop, you will prepare three products: an herb/mushroom salt, a seasoning blend, a tea blend or foot soak mix.

The course covers the basics of ingredient identification, the benefits of drying, proper storage, and everyday uses in cooking and tea moments. The workshop lasts 3–4 hours.

After the workshop, participants will receive e-materials by email (instructions and recipes) to help continue and apply what they have learned at home.

The workshop takes place indoors, and no special equipment is required. Please bring your own tea cup for tasting and, if you want to take with note-taking materials. All workshop ingredients, materials, and jars are included in the price.
