"The park's lovely lakeshores include the beautiful beach of Venäjänhiekka (Russian Sands), whose name relates to the 1595 Treaty of Teusina which divided these lands between Sweden and Russia. An old border stone in Lake Tiilikkajärvi still bears a crown and a cross symbolising the two countries. A sandy esker ridge formation runs through the lake, adding to the varied natural scene. Slow down, relax, and enjoy a refreshing dip in the lake."

Online course
The online course is part of this course. We talk about the preparation, equipment list and hiking food before starting the excursion. The online course will be held one month before the course starting date.
Camping gear
You can borrow hiking equipment from friends/relatives, or rent them from outdoor stores or online if you do not have your own yet. Additional information.

This camping course does not require any previous hiking experience and you do not need to have your own camping equipment. Additional information about hiking equipment if you are missing it.
One day in the course varies from about 4 to 6 kilometers long, and we take breaks at regular intervals. We walk about 9 kilometers long in total. There are a small challenging areas in the terrain, so participants are required to have a movement ability.

The first payment is 75 € for booking fee and I will send you the bill through email. Remember to pay the rest of the course one month before the starting date. After registration, you will be added to a WhatsApp group, where hikers can get to know each other and agree about transportation if needed. Participants will also receive a link to our online course and more detailed information about the hiking.
